Practical training is conducted on the Viktoria-1, Boets, Vitimets, and Marion motor vessels owned by the Company. The Company has employed the students for the helmperson-motorist position until the close of navigation.
Seven students, who have completed their third- and fourth-year education at the Ust-Kut branch of the Siberian State University of Water Transport in Novosibirsk, intern on the vessels. The university is one of the leading educational institutions for training of navy officers and river vessel operating technicians.
The Company has received a positive assessment of its high sustainability from AK&M, a rating agency, along with other Russian companies ranked A according to the Agency’s rating scale for Russian organisations.
RNG is praised for its environmental responsibility, effective corporate governance, and a good relationship with regional authorities and the local community.
Viktoriya-1, Vitimets, Morion, and Boyets, all motor ships, and two barges have left for their first voyage on the Lena River. They are transporting technical cargo and food supplies to support RNG’s operations in Yakutia.
Typically, they start in the port of Osetrovo in the town of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Oblast, and end in the town of Lensk, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), covering about 2,000 kilometres in total.
Each will make at least ten voyages over the navigation period, delivering technical cargo to the Company.
The Company funded the First Open Mind Sport Championship of Mirninsky District featuring chess and checkers tournaments, all in honour of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Over 150 young athletes aged 5–18 joined the Championship from Yakutian towns of Mirny, Udachny, and Lensk, with the winners and runners-up enjoying diplomas, gift certificates, and souvenirs.
The hosts were very grateful to RNG for its help and support: the participants said the event was very well-organised.
9 May saw the conclusion of Dorogy Pobedy (Russian for Roads of Victory), a music festival commemorating the 80th anniversary of the USSR’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The festival closed with a concert at the Boarding School for Female Students of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps. With the Company’s financial help, the festival was able to host Symphonica ARTica, the symphony orchestra of the State Philharmonia of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

The Company has funded the institution’s administrative activities and maintenance costs.
The New Economic School is planning to use the financial aid for academic and non-academic staff payroll, building maintenance, transport costs, academic books, and IT support.
This is not the first time RNG has provided support to the New Economic School the two organisations have been partners since 2020. The School is grateful to the Company for its trust and long-term cooperation.

The results are in: The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) has hosted an awards ceremony for the winners of the fourth educational competition sponsored by RNG. The Company is the General Partner of the event and its driving force along with its hosts— the Ministry of Education and Science and the Trust Fund for Future Generations of Yakutia.
In 2025, 458 teachers submitted their applications, a 17% increase from last year. The selection committee picked the 100 best educators of Yakutia to be awarded a cash prize of 100,000 roubles.
