The Company’s own fire service helped the forestry department to eliminate a wildfire in the Mirninsky District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The concerted efforts of the regional firefighting forces and RNG Group made it possible to prevent the spread of fire. A team of about 20 employees of the Company, as well as special equipment including MT-LB multipurpose tracked armored vehicles designed for work in harsh terrain were involved in the operation.
RNG regularly provides maximum assistance to the Mirninsky, Suntarsky and Lensky Districts of Yakutia in eliminating natural emergencies. This year, due to the difficult fire hazardous situation in the republic, the Company takes additional action at all its facilities to prevent fire emergencies.
