RNG Supports Flood Recovery Efforts in Yakutia’s Oymyakonsky District

RNG has provided financial assistance to help restore villages in Yakutia’s Oymyakonsky District that were hit by severe flooding earlier this year.

The funding will be used to purchase building materials needed to repair damaged homes and agricultural buildings in affected communities.

Over the summer, heavy rainfall led to widespread flooding across parts of the district, washing out roads, damaging homes, and impacting transport infrastructure. More than 1,200 people were affected by the disaster.

In response, regional authorities and natural resource companies operating in the area have come together to provide targeted support to those in need.
